Learning Railway

A Uniquely Albertan Experience

Learning Railway is a subscription box unlike any other.  We research, design, create and package each box at the Northern Rockies Museum in Hinton, AB, Canada. Each box contains four themed activities: STEM, the Great Outdoors, Our Heritage and Feel Good. Designed for kids aged 6-12 or for the kid in you.

Our Process

We believe that great learning opportunities shouldn’t be hard to find. At the Northern Rockies Museum pre-covid we ran these activities and crafts with classrooms and homeschool groups that came for a visit to our site. Unfortunately, we are unable to host these classes on-site anymore, but from that, we have created the Learning Railway Subscription Box. Each activity is thoroughly researched and aligned with the Alberta curriculum. We then design all the elements in-house, print locally and package and prepare every box right here at the museum. We definitely put our heart and soul into each box.
